With easy to understand headings and drop down boxes, Paw Pal helps keep important pet-related information at your fingertips. The amount of information you can store in Paw Pal is truly impressive. The basic Pet Profile allows you to store information such as Pet Name, Owner Name, Breed, Date of Birth, Microchip Number, License Number and Location, and even Favorite Foods and Favorite Toys. Both Paw Pal Pro and Paw Pal Lite also allow you to store photos, documents, and journal entries regarding your pet. In addition, Paw Pal Pro allows you to store Contacts, Expenses, Scheduled Meals, Meal History, Scheduled Medications, Medication History, Vists to the vet or hospital, Weight History, and Shots. There is also a convenient Calendar feature, which takes all the meals and medications you've scheduled for all of your pets, and compiles them into a Daily Calendar, which is also shareable. Find out more about Paw Pal Pro.

Another extremely useful feature of Paw Pal is its ability to share any or all of your pets' data with anyone you choose, all at the tap of a button. You can share just the basic Pet Profile, or you can share any or all data from any module. For example, you can share a pet's feeding schedule, medication schedule, and emergency contacts with a pet sitter or caregiver. You can share medical history with your vet's office. You can share as much or as little information about your pet as you like, with anyone you please! Sharing can be done to any compatible app on your device, such as your text messaging app, your email app, and many social media apps.

Last but certainly not least is Paw Pal's Daily Calendar feature. Paw Pal takes all the information you've entered regarding Scheduled Meals and Scheduled Medications, and compiles them into a Daily Calendar, which allows you to see at a glance what you (or a care-giver) have to do for each of your pets today, or any day you choose!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many pets can I keep track of in Paw Pal?

A: There is no limit to the number of Pet Profiles you can create in Paw Pal. This makes it useful not only for the person with one or two pets of their own, but also for anyone responsible for the care of multiple pets, such as a dog walker or a cat sitter.

Q: How can I store photos, videos, and documents related to my pet?

A: It's easy to store photos, videos, and documents in Paw Pal. For photos and videos, tap the Photos button on the Pet Profile of the pet. Then tap the Upload button from the Photos page. Similarly, to upload a document, tap the Documents button on the Pet Profile screen, then tap the Upload button on the Documents screen.

Q: How do I create a calendar for my pet?

A: Your pet's calendar is created automatically based on the information you enter in the Scheduled Meals and Scheduled Medications pages, which can be reached by clicking the Meals and Medications buttons on the Pet Profile page accordingly.

Q: How do I record a shot administered to my pet?

A: Shots are recorded through the Visit page. To get to the Visit page, tap the Visits button on the Pet Profile screen. On the Visit page, tap the Add Shot button to record the Shot information.

Q: What do the numbers on the buttons at the bottom of the Pet Profile page mean?

A: Each button at the bottom of the Pet Profile page allows you to enter more detailed information regarding your pet. The numbers in parenthesis on each button represent the number of records you have stored 'under' each button.

Q: What's the difference between active and inactive Scheduled Meals and Scheduled Medications?

A: If the current date falls between the Start Date and End Date of a Scheduled Meal or Scheduled Medication, that item is considered Active. When a scheduled item's end date passes, the item automatically becomes inactive.

Q: How can I use Paw Pal to send or share information about my pet with my vet or someone else?

A: It's very easy to use Paw Pal to share as much or as little information about your pet as you care to. Each page has a Share button. Tapping the Share button from any page will bring you to the Sharing Options page. From there you can choose to share information about your pet or share your pet's calendar. This comes in handy if you want to leave instructions for a caretaker, or send medical history to the vet. Sharing can be done to any application on your device that accepts shared text, including email apps, texting apps, and most social media apps.

Q: If I'm at the vet's office, is there a convenient way to enter Shots, Weight, and Expenses related to my pet's visit?

A: Yes! There are actually an Add Shot button, an Add Expense button, and an Add Weight button conveniently located right on the Visit page. If opened from the Visit page, those three screens will open pre-populated with your Visit information.

Q: What's the difference between Paw Pal Pro and Paw Pal Lite?

A: Ah, great question! Paw Pal Pro comes with all features fully functional. In Paw Pal Lite (the free version of Paw Pal), some features are restricted. Paw Pal Lite allows you to store basic Pet Profile information, plus journal entries, photos, videos, and documents. You can also share your basic Pet Profile information. However, only Paw Pal Pro allows you to store and share expenses, contacts, meals, weight, visits, medications, and shots. In addition, the absence of scheduling of meals and medications in Paw Pal Lite makes the Calendar feature irrelevant.
